![🎆 What it is
The festival is basically part of the Yi Peng Festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where thousands of sky-lanterns (called “khom loy” or “khom lei”) are released into the night sky.
In this particular version, organised by CAD (Culture Art & Design) Lanna, it’s called the Chiang Mai CAD Khomloy Sky Lantern Festival.
